API Key Terms of Use

These API Key Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) apply to your use of API Keys on the EasiCoin platform.

Once you begin using an API Key, or you have confirmed acceptance of this Agreement, or you have received notice of this Agreement (as determined by EasiCoin, including but not limited to clicking “Agree” or any related confirmation fields), this Agreement shall be deemed effective.

In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between this Agreement and any other agreements of EasiCoin, this Agreement shall prevail with respect to the services covered herein, unless otherwise expressly stated.

 

1.Definitions

“API Key”

An API Key is a unique identifier (using API keys, public keys, private keys, or digital signature technologies) that allows the holder to programmatically access a user’s EasiCoin account and related platform functionalities.

You are solely responsible for safeguarding the security and confidentiality of your API Key and for using it properly in accordance with applicable laws. You may generate multiple API Keys on the EasiCoin platform with different access levels and permissions.

You acknowledge that EasiCoin is not responsible for any activities conducted through any API Key you use or generate, including but not limited to unauthorized access, use of your account, data breaches, or loss of funds. Any losses resulting from transactions initiated via your API Key shall be borne entirely by you.

You must implement appropriate technical and security measures to protect your API Key against loss, theft, hacking, or unauthorized disclosure or access. Upon discovering the loss of an API Key or any suspected or actual misuse, you must immediately notify EasiCoin.

You acknowledge and agree that any actions or instructions executed using your API Key are solely your responsibility, and neither EasiCoin nor its affiliates shall be liable for any losses arising from such actions or instructions. You further acknowledge and agree that EasiCoin may share or permit access to your personal data based on your actions and instructions.

You also acknowledge that any person who accesses your account using an API Key assigned to you is authorized to act on your behalf, and you shall bear full responsibility for such actions. If EasiCoin reasonably believes that the security of your API Key has been compromised, EasiCoin may take reasonable actions, including suspending the API Key.

 

“EasiCoin Technology”

Refers to API Keys and any proprietary technology of EasiCoin, including but not limited to software, processes, scripts, algorithms, user interfaces, know-how, designs, and other tangible or intangible technical materials or information provided to you by EasiCoin during the term of this Agreement, as well as all updates and related intellectual property rights.

 

“Intellectual Property Rights”

Refers to patents, invention rights, copyrights, neighboring and related rights, trademarks and service marks, trade names and domain names, rights in get-up and trade dress, goodwill and rights to sue for passing off or unfair competition, design rights, computer software rights, database rights, rights to use and protect confidential information (including know-how and trade secrets), and all other intellectual property rights (whether registered or unregistered), including applications, renewals, extensions, priority rights, and any similar or equivalent rights existing now or in the future.

 

“Sanctions”

Any economic or financial sanctions or trade embargoes administered, enacted, or enforced by any sanctions authority from time to time.

 

“Sanctions Authorities”

Any relevant sanctions authority, including but not limited to the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, any EU member state, the United Nations and its Security Council, and the U.S. government, as well as any governmental entities thereof, including the U.S. Department of State, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and HM Treasury of the United Kingdom.

 

2.API Key License

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, EasiCoin hereby grants you a personal, time-limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the API Key solely during the term of this Agreement for integration with EasiCoin and only in the manner intended by EasiCoin and in compliance with applicable laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by EasiCoin.

The API Key license granted under this Agreement is conditional upon your compliance with the following restrictions and obligations.

During or after the term of this Agreement, you shall not, directly or indirectly:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, underlying structure, algorithms, ideas, or know-how of the API Key or related API data (collectively, the “Source Materials”), except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• Modify, translate, or create derivative works, enhancements, adaptations, or extensions of the API Key or related API data without EasiCoin’s prior written consent;
• Access or attempt to access any personal data controlled by EasiCoin;
• Use the API Key in violation of this Agreement, EasiCoin’s written instructions, applicable laws, regulations, or sanctions;
• Use or exploit the API Key or related API data for any purpose not expressly permitted by this Agreement;
• Challenge EasiCoin’s intellectual property rights in EasiCoin Technology licensed under this Agreement;
• Grant or attempt to grant any security interest in the API Key or related API data;
• Use the API Key for any illegal or malicious purpose, including but not limited to market manipulation, insider trading, front-running, pump-and-dump schemes, wash trading, or fraud;
• Permit or assist any third party to engage in any of the foregoing activities.

Your access to or use of the website or services shall not be deemed a transfer of any intellectual property rights to you.

 

3.Risks

You acknowledge and agree that the use of API Keys involves inherent risks, and you are responsible for ensuring that your API Key is not shared with any third party with whom you do not wish to share control of your EasiCoin account.

You agree to treat your API Key as a password and not to intentionally or unintentionally disclose it. You acknowledge that all risks and potential losses arising from the use of API Keys—including unauthorized access, data breaches, and loss of funds—shall be borne solely by you. EasiCoin and its affiliates shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from the use of API Keys.

You are solely responsible for managing your API Keys and protecting your account, including but not limited to the following measures:

• Use each API Key for a single purpose or application only;
• Do not enable unnecessary API Key permissions;
• Disable and delete unused API Keys immediately;
• Apply IP address whitelisting to all API Keys;
• Do not embed API Keys directly in publicly available or insecure source code or repositories;
• Do not store API Keys in cloud-based locations;
• Do not share API Keys with any third party you do not wish to grant account control;
• Use RSA API Keys where available to enhance security.

If you determine that your API Key security is at risk or has been compromised, you may delete it and create a new API Key.

 

4.Authorization

By using an API Key, you issue programmatic instructions to EasiCoin in accordance with the permissions associated with that API Key. You acknowledge and agree that all actions and instructions executed via your API Key are solely your responsibility, and EasiCoin (including its affiliates and assignees) shall not be liable for any resulting losses or damages. You further acknowledge and agree that EasiCoin may share or permit access to your personal data based on your actions and instructions.

 

5.Revocation

EasiCoin may, at its sole discretion and for any reason or no reason, revoke or disable any API Key at any time without prior notice. You may also revoke or disable any API Key granted to you in accordance with EasiCoin’s designated procedures.

 

6.Limitation of Liability

EasiCoin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of profits) arising from the use of API Keys.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EasiCoin shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, exemplary, special, or punitive damages, whether arising from breach of contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, regardless of foreseeability or whether you were advised of the possibility of such damages.

EasiCoin’s liability shall be further limited in accordance with its Terms of Use.

 

7.Indemnification

If EasiCoin and/or any of its affiliates’ directors, officers, or employees incur losses due to your (or your authorized user’s) breach of this Agreement, violation of applicable laws, sanctions, or regulations, or any misconduct, you shall fully indemnify EasiCoin and its affiliates without prejudice to any other rights available to EasiCoin.

Without limiting the foregoing, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EasiCoin, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents (“Indemnified Parties”) from and against all third-party claims arising from your use or misuse of API Keys, including any administrative orders or legal proceedings, and all related costs, losses, damages, and reasonable legal fees.

 

8.Effect of Termination

EasiCoin may terminate this Agreement at any time. Upon termination:

• You must immediately cease all use of API Keys and all rights and licenses granted under this Agreement;
• EasiCoin shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses arising from the termination of this Agreement, regardless of whether either party was aware of such potential damages.
  
   

9.Operation

EasiCoin does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of API Keys, nor does it warrant the accuracy, applicability, reliability, completeness, or performance of API Keys. You agree to use API Keys at your own discretion and risk.

 

10.Applicable Law and Compliance

When using API Keys, you must comply with all applicable laws and fulfill all obligations under this Agreement.

You shall not cause EasiCoin to violate any applicable laws or regulatory requirements. You shall provide all necessary support and information related to API Key usage to enable EasiCoin to comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

You must not allow access to the EasiCoin platform from Iran, North Korea, or any other sanctioned countries.

Upon reasonable request by EasiCoin, you shall provide written proof and reasonable evidence demonstrating your full compliance with this Agreement.

 

11.Modifications

EasiCoin may modify this Agreement at any time by publishing the updated terms on the EasiCoin website without prior notice. You are responsible for reviewing this Agreement periodically. Continued use of API Keys after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

 

12.Entire Agreement

The final interpretation of this Agreement shall rest with this website. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and the exchange regarding the use of API Keys and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous oral or written communications or agreements, unless otherwise expressly agreed.
